அருமைத் தோழர்களே ! மத்திய BJP அரசு அறிவித்துள்ள புதிய பட்ஜெட்டில் கார்பரேட் நிறுவனங்களுக்கு சலுகைகளும், ஏழைமக்களுக்கு பெரும் சுமையை ஏற்றியுள்ளதை கண்டித்து நாடு தழுவிய அளவில் கண்டன ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் நடத்திட வேண்டுமாய் நமது மத்திய சங்கம் (BSNLEU -CHQ), அறைகூவலை ஏற்று, மாநில/ மாவட்ட சங்கள் நமது மதுரை மாவட்டத்தில் கிளைகள் தோறும் ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் நடத்திட வேண்டுகிறது ..

1 . . The budget has announced concessions to the corporates to the tune of
Rs.5, 89,285.2 crores. Wealth Tax to be paid by the rich amounting Rs.8315
crore abolished.
2 2 . . Tax burden of the ordinary people is
increased. Indirect taxes to be paid by the common people is increased by
Rs.23, 383 crore.
3 3 . . Subsidies
to the poor are reduced from Rs.2.60 lakh crore to Rs.2.44 lakh crore.
Subsidies, as a percentage of the GDP, has been cut down from 2.1% to 1.7%.
4 4 . .
Disinvestment of public sector units to be made in a big way, for which target
is fixed as Rs.69, 500 crore. Govt. also wants strategic disinvestment, which
is nothing but outright sale of PSUs, as was done in the case of VSNL.
5 5 . . Fund
allotment to Family Welfare is reduced to Rs.29, 653 crore. It was at Rs.35,
163 crore in the last year’s budget.
6 6 . . Fund
allocation to scheduled Castes sub-plan is cut down by Rs.12, 000 crore.
Allocation to Tribal Sub-Plan is cut down by Rs.5000 crore.
7 7 . . Allocation
of funds for Food Subsidy, MNREGS, Agriculture, Rural Development, Education,
Health and Family Welfare are stagnant. No Increase is made, to cope with the
inflation and increase is prices.
8 8 . . Fund allotment to Urban Poverty
Alleviation and Housing is reduced to Rs.5634 crore. It was at Rs.6008 crore in
the last budget
