27.08.2014 - Meeting with CMD BSNL

Com. P. Abhimanyu, GS and com. M.C. Balakrishna, Org. Secretary (CHQ), met shri A.N. Rai, CMD BSNL, yesterday the 26.08.2014 and discussed the following issues:- 

(1)   Granting of Adhoc PLI : The leaders informed the CMD, that the Joint Committee to finalise the New PLI formula is on the job. Since it will take atleast 2 months to finalise the New PLI formula, the Company should pay one month pay as adhoc PLI, demanded the leaders. 

(2)  Inordinate delay in approving E-1 pay scale and revised JTO Recruitment Rules : The leaders pointed out that there is inordinate delay in approving the E-1 pay scale and the revised Recruitment Rules of the JTO cadre. They urged upon the CMD to get both the issues approved by the next meeting of the Board of Directors. 

(3)   Holding 31st meeting of the National Council: It is the decision of the last meeting of the National Council, that the next meeting (31st meeting) would be held in the 2nd / 3rd week of August, 2014. However, no date has so far been fixed for the meeting. The leaders insisted upon the CMD to hold the meeting at least in the month of September, 2014. 

The CMD assured that all the issues raised by the Union leaders would be appropriately be looked into.

 . . . ஆகியவை பற்றி விவாதித்தனர். CMD நமது தலைவர்கள் எழுப்பிய அனைத்து பிரச்சனைகளிலும் உரிய ,பொருத்தமான முறையில் கவனிப்பதாக உறுதி அளித்துள்ளார்.
